WHAT TO WEAR
CHOOSE A COLOR PALETTE
It's great to choose 3-4 colors to create your palette. Neutrals, blue tones, earth tones, pastels, etc.

DON'T MATCH, COORDINATE
Matchy match is a thing of the 90's! (Actually I do think that can be cute sometimes!) But coordinated outfits look sooooo good on camera. Solids, patterns, texture, layers, yummy!

AVOID LOGOS AND CRAZY PATTERNS
Unless you are going for a certain look, it's best to avoid this, as they don't look great!

MOVEMENT
Try not to worry about being perfectly coifed, movement is gorgeous! Hair that blows with the wind, a dress that shows motion, there is nothing better!

DON'T FORGET ABOUT THE SHOES
I'm not suggesting you go buy all new shoes, unless you need an excuse, here it is hehe. BUT, neutral is best. No or minimal logos, and best to avoid athletic shoes!

START WITH THE HARDEST TO DRESS
Start with the family member that's most difficult to dress. Choose their outfit first, and build around it!

CONSIDER THE LOCATION
This will definitely inform which direction you go with! Black tie outfits in the city, whew! A flowy dress in the forest, yesss! Also take color inspo from the location.

COMFORT IS KEY
If you are uncomfortable, you will LOOK uncomfortable! Try to choose items that everyone feels good in and has no trouble moving around in. Try to avoid outfits where you move and a bra strap comes out! Try on everything before hand to make sure it works

TIMELESS OVER TRENDY
We don't have to push the envelope every time! Some things are classics for a reason! You don't want to instantly date your photos by being too rt

USE BLACK AND WHITE MINIMALLY
While there is always a place for these staple colors, they tend to show up harsh, or blown out in photos.
